Loved it so much in January we came back in August. Fantastic views, beautifully quiet, spacious and light, has everything you need and more. The hot tub is lovely especially after a good hike up the hills. In winter, at night, surrounded by snow and clear skies it's even better. Really recommend this place as a perfect getaway to a busy life. Lisa and Chris have created a wonderful place.

Absolutely amazing place - we loved it! So nice for a retreat - we stayed for 5 days but wish it could have been longer. The lodge was perfect - luxury accommodation where everything had been thought of - one of the most comfortable King sized beds we have slept in, beautiful kitchen with high end appliances, lovely seating area, beautiful bathroom with double ended bath & a powerful shower & the view over Dee valley from the decking area/ outdoor hot tub was breathtaking. Also enjoyed many local walks in the area & beautiful Llangollen- just 15 minute drive away. Enjoyed every minute & were very sad to leave - can't wait to come back again - Absolutely gem of a place, cannot recommend highly enough!

Gem of a place. Turning onto the drive on arrival, you realise how secluded and special this place is, and wow what an incredible view! The finish and quality inside compliments the beauty outside. A lovely open plan kitchen /dining and living room space with sliding doors out onto the balcony with seating and a hot tub. I could sit and look at the view from the hot tub all day! We cannot wait to come back!

We had the most wonderful and relaxing weekend at Dee Valley Breaks. The lodge is beautiful, has everything you would need & more! The view is spectacular no matter what the weather. It was raining whilst we stayed but you didn't notice it even when we used the amazing hot tub, which was very easy to use and get in and out of. The view & sound of the steam train in the distance was just like a scene out of The Polar Express, but without the snow. Lisa & Chris were fantastic hosts and nothing was any trouble for them, full of local knowledge and information to help us enjoy our stay even more. We would definitely recommend.
